athens hospital. my boyfriend's ex-girlfriends parents were born here. it's a hangout for area teenyboppers, and also smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood, chock full of nosy old ladies and people walking their dogs. for an abandoned facility, the grounds sure are well kept.

this is about as close to inside as we got. driving a big ole' station wagon with out of state plates was conspicuous enough - hanging around the hospital was moreso. the sharpie-marker grafitti around here was terrible.

the building has a funky pod-shape. it has wings, even. this is one of those tree-lined wings.
