we're a little different than your average urban exploration team. we aren't hardcore. we bought a really funky bakealite flashlight, and have never taken it anywhere. we've never needed to. which is a good thing, 'cause we can't find a bulb for it. we do not make any claims to have mad ninja skillz, do not own a grappling hook, and neither of us have ever scaled a fence. we are tourists in our own world, just snapping photos as we go around.
we're from northeastern pennsylvania. not quite the philly suburbs, not quite the poconos, not even easton or allentown. i was born in jersey, and my exploration buddy / hetero lifemate is transplanted from east texas. consequently, we've done a little ue-ing in both spots. if you're from anywhere in this neighborhood, drop me an email at jenever@gmail.com.
through this website, you will find our photography skills are changing. at first, we simply documented the location. we progress to trying to capture one iota of the beauty of the overgrown mess. we started with a cybershot dsc-p20, then progressed to a powershot a60. (and then an a95! woot!)
